Rhythm/Pitch Duality: Hear rhythm become pitch before your ears

A fun article with good explanations. It’s a phenomenon I suspect many noisy music dabblers have heard before, it’s pretty easy to accidentally or uh, improvisationally create when playing with audio circuits, or mixer feedback, or delays or loopers.

I wish I could follow the Rythym slightly further as it transitions to pitch. I loose it a little early, all Rhythms start to sound the same, just the “fundamental” pulse and then a wash. It seems to me there is something there. Some intuitive understanding that the author has a little better grasp of than I.
