Stage Manager on Mac is an anchor for iPad
davidbrownwastaken.comFTA: Stage Manager doesn’t really seem to be a feature that solves any major issues people have on a Mac.
I think it does. I see it as virtual desktops (does the new Mac OS still have these? If so, it would be confusing, IMO) with UI added that makes it easier to keep track of those desktops and to move windows between them.
Downside is that I don’t see it interact with full screen windows and that it takes up quite a bit of your screen. Hopefully, that’s configurable, just as the size of the Dock.
Unless they've removed virtual desktops in this release, they're still part of MacOS. Which is partly why I think Stage Manager is going to be a niche workflow on Mac.
I disagree. I can see myself using this more often than virtual desktops, and don’t think I’m alone in that. Virtual desktops are too invisible for me.
It will depend on how much I can tone down the size of those non-active stages, though.
