The Mountains of Pi (1992)

This is an article about Chudnovsky brothers building a homemade super computer to compute pi. It is crazy how our phones are 1500 times more powerful than their supercomputer. It is also crazy how they were able build a homemade super computer in the early 90s with prices of components and less availability of computing.
