Opinions are pretty well set on Elon and Twitter both and a lot of people get bent out of shape over this drama. I can't help but sit back and enjoy just watching it go down. I think they deserve each other. Twitter is a great hive of self important scum and villainy and Musk is a modern day Edison in all the good and terrible ways.

It's fun to watch.

I don't find it fun, but I definitely think Twitter and Elon deserve each other. It's pretty clear once the board woke up they realized that Twitter is a liability, not an asset, and if they can get $45B for it, and hand it over to Elon, the investors win. And the rest of the world loses.

The world has already been losing. I'm convinced that Twitter by its nature is bad for society.

Agreed. I liked it better when everyone didn't know everyone's opinion. Many people can't handle it.

I agree with thereddaikon. This is an interesting plot of a minor Shakespearian play; In the big scheme of life, Twitter is just a human endeavor that is ‘but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.’ The plot of ego, vanity and greed is the plot of most human actions for millennia. It is intriguing to watch the next plot twists and how the actors respond.
