Court Says Bees Are Fish

When updating some Master function (in this case the law) is hard, so you just abuse the hell out of a helper function you have control over.

This is reasonable, as while the colloquial wording says “fish”, the law has to enumerate families.

The law explicitly lists many different species, including invertebrates, which is what “insects” are.

It just makes a “better” headline to claim that the court is calling bees fish.

The alternative would be the law not covering, for example, shrimp, or octopus, muscles, etc which are also not fish.
