A second Support Page (https://support.google.com/a/answer/60217#faq) indicates that "You can continue using your custom domain with Gmail, retain access to no-cost Google services such as Google Drive and Google Meet, and keep your purchases and data." Ugh, screw you Google. The same here same here. But we have close to 800 users. I think they probably limit by number of users you have. You have to vouch that it is for personal/family use. Not sure if they will let that through for 800 users. How big is your family?? Worked for me. Thank you for posting this! I'm just a regular gmail user, with files in google drive and occasionally look at sheets and docs, I don't pay for any of it. What does this mean for people like me, am I a "Legacy G Suite" user? Pretty sure it doesn't apply to you. "G Suite" was an office suite for businesses. Started more than a decade ago. Supported @company.com email addresses, an administrator account to manage up to 10 other company accounts, some access control settings, paid plans for more storage, and so on. They renamed it to "Google Workspace" recently and those who had signed up when it was "G Suite" became legacy G Suite users. I have both regular gmail accounts and a "G Suite" domain. Everybody gets the same Gmail, Drive, Docs, etc. "G Suite" accounts just see a few different settings and permissions. I would like to know this too, I'd never heard the phrase "Legacy G Suite" until this issue began to be discussed and then I started wondering whether GMail + a few files + occasional use of sheets/docs was that ? If your email address is something @gmail.com you are very unlikely to be a legacy gsuite user Not only did it work, the 'new' legacy G suite seems to have retained the exchange sync method for push email. YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES
I've been waiting for this, worked, thanks! previously , it said 1 June as the final date. The page is now saying 27 June. Frustrating. Google as a company is on the decline Thanks for the reminder ;)
