Programmatically modifying ancient fonts

Ancient means 1993 apparently.

I suppose that makes me a mythical person, because i'm from before ancient times. ;-). I've valid pascal code from before then & it still runs in the console nowdays.

I've done this with bitmap fonts before. Fun times
