Ask HN: Why did mobile App-Changelogs did become abandoned
When did this happen? And why? I love App-Updates, but want to know, what changes with the new release. And "minor changes" or "look at example.com" or "look in the app" is not enough or an alternative. Why did it happen? Because the average consumer of the apps and logs doesn’t care. Change logs are also another surface that has to be vetted by legal, approved etc. Why do the extra work for no gain? They're just on F-Droid, most of the apps theres have food changelogs
