Ask HN: Why my post is not showing on HN
My post is not showing on HK if it contains a URL. Am I doing something wrong? Send an email to the mods, the contact link is at the bottom. Looking at your previous submissions, they are "Show HN" but they are not the type of post described in the rules for https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html > On topic: things people can run on their computers or hold in their hands. For hardware, you can post a video or detailed article. For books, a sample chapter is ok. > Off topic: blog posts, sign-up pages, newsletters, lists, and other reading material. Those can't be tried out, so can't be Show HNs. Make a regular submission instead. There are some corner cases like a blog post of a project you made yourself, but your post are about current news that are covered in many other sources.
