There's something off about ApeCoin
platformer.newsWe already know ApeCoin is a liquidity event scam and the web3 VCs are doing the same thing as they did here: [0] It is not just ApeCoin.
They collaborate with tons of exchanges to orchestrate the scam and list the coins they want all at the same time of the launch. Rinse and repeat.
Hardly anything surprising and new here sherlock.
This comment seems to violate at least a few of the HN guidelines for comments with the "Hardly anything surprising and new here sherlock" quip.
Agreed. That sort of zinger ought to smell bad when you’re typing it out…
How exactly? Care to explain how my comment violates the HN guidelines?

> Be kind. Don't be snarky. Have curious conversation; don't cross-examine. Please don't fulminate. Please don't sneer, including at the rest of the community.
> Please don't post shallow dismissals, especially of other people's work. A good critical comment teaches us something.
I would say "Hardly anything surprising and new here sherlock" violates both of those.
My point was that without that last line your comment would have been fine overall. Consider dropping the snark and dismissal in the future and just having genuine and human conversation. FWIW, I'm sure I've accidentally violated some of the guidelines in the past as well, but I try not to as much as possible.
