Patreon removed the page of the foundation savelife.in.ua. They support the veterans of the Ukrainian army and act as source of news from the frontlines.
Today their account on Patreon was removed and they lost access to the funds donated.

I will cancel all my Patreon subscriptions (sorry collateral damage).
Ask the people you support for alternatives. Ko-fi seems to be the main #2.

These crowd funding sites are turning out to be a disaster. Too many competing interests, values and laws.
They are claiming that they are spending money on weapons but they don't - as non-profit they cannot do that. Instead they spend all the money on medical kits, medical trainings, night-sight devices and so on.
Here are some details from Patreon. Though "we are investigating" during an evolving emergency situation is the least helpful of approaches.
