My impression is people don't really want to pay their delivery drivers. They want to pay for the food and get free delivery.

We should focus on making takeout easier instead. Food delivery exacerbates the current trend of Haves and Have Nots where some get delivery and some do the delivering, so to speak.

It is an interesting problem.

There are clearly customers. There is clearly demand. There is clearly tons and tons of demand. It is like finding a mine with a ton of gold flakes.

The question is whether there is any gold or whether this entire thing was an exercise in just handing customers cheap and convenient food. Uber Eats hands out 30% off coupons like candy to me for example.
