Shock in France after giant trawler sheds 100k dead fish off coast

I mean I don't like to see food go to waste anymore then the next person.(From the perspective of the total ocean biome it's not a waste at all but a massive local boon.) But what's the big deal here? Is it just outrageous that people see where their fish comes from?
