DigitalOcean just refunded unused funds back to inactive users' PayPal accounts
A lot of users on twitter[1], myself included, just received a payment by DigitalOcean out of the blue. Turns out they apparently refunded the unused funds of inactive users.

I say 'made available' because it wasn't actually sent to my PayPal account, just to an old email address. The act of claiming it has associated that old email address with my PayPal account. Like some other people are saying, I don't remember having an excess cash deposit sitting in my DigitalOcean account, but maybe we are mistaken (surely DigitalOcean wouldn't convert old free-promo-credits into real money?).
