I Switched from macOS to Windows

Microsoft today has gone bat-shit crazy and absolutely aggressive in trying to get every little bit of your personal data using Windows. I grew up on Windows and so I have a soft spot for it. Would love to go back to the stable and spy free era with Windows 2000 / 7. If Microsoft releases an offline, no-web-services, no adware / spyware version without Defender version of Windows OS, I'd dump macOS completely and install that instead, along with FreeBSD.

I always thought Macs ran hotter than Windows machines because Apple tuned them up that way.
