Ask HN: Is there a virtual receptionist service for my personal phone?
I would like to pay a human to answer calls to my cell phone and just send me an email of who it was and what they wanted.
I don't need a full blown personal assistant, I just hate answering my phone.
I am aware of several call answering services, but all the ones I have found are set up for customers calling businesses, and tend to glitch out when people who know you personally call expecting to get you directly.
Any solutions or am I just being too autistic/eccentric with this? I think you can go to Upwork and pay a virtual assistant. Then it's just a matter of setting up VoIP.
