I am experiencing a text parsing bug on HN
Is there a way to report this?

This starts to happen after a comment has more than 4 lines, then these chars around the letters appear and the whole text area element becomes wobbly.
Hitting back does nothing to the currently focussed text area, but when I submit, everything is as per my inputs.
Android, Nokia phone, chrome browser. Mail to hn@ycombinator.com I agree. @OP: Do you have some strange add-on, like Grammarly? Nope , nothing such like. Only happens on HN, I faintly remember it might have happened on Reddit once, but here, it's consistent and reproducible.
