I know a a pair of people in Colorado with Teslas. They both readily admit their battery life is significantly shortened in very cold weather and that charging takes longer. There's also the significant issue that where ICE's power accessories such as fans and generate hot coolant for heating a BEV has to power fans and heat air as well as propel itself down the road. Shorter winter range and significantly bad handling in the winter due to the weight of the Teslas so they tend to drive SUVs in winter especially in hilly terrain where BEVs can suddenly expire
