Posted because this study is making the rounds on twitter [0], as it shows a negative protection after 3 months of two doses. The study briefly mentions it might be related to different behavior patterns between vaccinated and unvaccinated cohorts, twitter mob is obviously ignoring this possibility...

I had to edit the title of the study for being too long, original is: Vaccine effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 infection with the Omicron or Delta variants following a two-dose or booster BNT162b2 or mRNA-1273 vaccination series: A Danish cohort study

I've been saying since forever that vaccinated people are behaving like morons due to poor communication about the effectiveness of the vaccine and this needs to be considered when looking at data, but people like to disregard this consideration as absurd or insignificant. Confirmation bias doing its job.

So taken at face value, Denmark is doing a better job at protecting unvaccinated than vaccinated from Omicron infection. I don't really know what restrictions unvaccinated Danes face, perhaps it explains it? It does seem to indicate though that the vaccinated portion of the population is a bigger transmission problem than unvaccinated and whatever restrictions Danes face might be evened for the sake of rationality.
