Probably because companies exist to accrue money, not social capital. If we held every company accountable for participating in the exploitation of Chinese minority cultures, we'd probably set ourselves back 50 years in terms of technological progress and manufacturing capability while the CCP continues to happily enslave any which culture they oppose.
I'm not saying I agree with the practice, but do I find it hard to believe? Not even slightly.
Sad but probably true. Nonetheless, all individuals or companies participating in exploitation and slavery and murder and torture of folks should be held accountable and punished, and those who don't should get rewarded. Can't wait to see that happen. Totally going to do some rather harsh google reviews on these ones.
