Ask HN: How does a product manager interview look like at FAANG?
I am a software developer and it is well known that it takes Leetcode and System Design to clear interviews.
What about PMs in Tech? Do they do something similar or is it all subjective in nature? Depends on the company, but bulk of the interviews are about scenarios. For instance "Tell me about a time when you..." Additionally, a big thing is that they will throw scenarios at you and ask what you would investigate or test against in order to figure out next steps. Isn't that too subjective? Do they also have to go through 5 rounds of interviews and are they all about scenarios?
