Ask HN: How would you get in touch with startup founders to share your product?

2 points by Frajedo 4 years ago · 4 comments · 1 min read

Trying to scale https://get.mymfa.io and I feel that companies that could benefit the most from the service would be: 1) small companies building a QA team (or outsourcing it) 2) startups (fintechs) getting ready to submit their app to the App Store with a Two-Factor Authentication mechanism.

I am having a hard time trying to figure out a channel to communicate efficiently to potential customers.

Thank you very much in advance for your time!

You could try reaching out to founders on AngelList and Crunchbase. You might also wish to announce your product on BetaList and Product Hunt if you haven't already.

Thanks for the tip, I was thinking that perhaps it might be too soon to announce a v1 of the product in such lists, do you still think it might be worth it?

Twitter might be a good channel.

Was thinking that as well, but still haven't found out the best way to contact a group of potentially interested founders. Do you think cold-messaging might be worth the effort and not be too "spammy" ?
