Is anyone else struggling with staying positive about possibly adding a new generation to this world? Any tips on dealing with this? I've voted for the last decade to prioritize climate change issues, but it feels like a defeatist endeavour. I suppose I could do more. Cut out meat entirely, so maybe I'm just a hypocrite. Reading reports like this just confirms what we already know. So, why isn't more being done by global economies? "I've got mine"? Why do we keep on with such a wasteful way of life? Covid restrictions lift, and people immediately flock to airplanes to go on holidays. Maybe I just need to go for a walk.

Stop watching the news and their tendency to make everything an urgency or a huge problem. Because most of the time they do it just for clicks. Thats their business model.

Try one of the latest Kurzgesagt videos if you haven't already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiw6_JakZFc

Well this is my fifth decade of “10 years to save the earth from climate destruction” if that eases your worry a bit.
