Simplest explanation is that psychedelic drugs are associated with novelty-seeking behavior. People who exhibit more novelty-seeking behavior are more likely to be active and less likely to be sedentary.

    Psychedelics have also helped me move to a better diet.

    But I am happy to hear that there is no increase in heart problems, considering the vasoconstriction that can happen. The article doesn't have a breakdown of which participants did which chemical, but that could potentially be insightful. ei. Is LSD and Mescaline lower odds than the control group but higher that psilocybin and DMT?
