Ask HN: Is Signal Down?
Messages not getting delivered and hanging on Mac and iPhone. Location: Pacific Northwest, US. Down for me in California Downtime detector shows it down since 7:30PST which is about when I started having issues:
https://downdetector.com/status/signal/ Not sure if Signal still uses AWS infrastructure (there were threats they'd be shut down at one point), but EBS us-east-1 is having some serious issues right now. Same here, in the Netherlands. Seems like a global outage. Looking at user reports, it's been over an hour. Down here in Vietnam, I couldn't send message on android nor PC ('disconneted' showed on PC app) Completely down here & has been for 2.5 hours. New Zealand. Down. Completely. In New Zealand Down as well here, Eastern US. Down, Bangalore, India surprised they don't have a system status page. Me too, Australia.
