Predicting Covid deaths based on vaccination rates with neural networks

Are you saying you found vaccination rate data in the John Hopkins github repo? I only knew of confirmed cases, and deaths, in that repo. Did they add vaccination data at some point? Sorry, I'm not seeing where that is. Or did you get the vaccination data from some other source and merge it with the John Hopkins data?

Is the neural network actually adding any value here? I suspect they could have achieved equivalent accuracy with simpler deterministic statistical methods.
