Twitch for Live Classes

Hi HN I’m Soki, and I’m building a social live class platform for people to teach, attend and discover live classes in any area of interest. You can think of it as the twitch for live classes where viewers can respond audibly teachers/ live streamers. www.smango.tv

I decided to build Smango for three reasons:

1) I found it difficult to find live classes I was interested in on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. People host live classes on these platforms already, they are just really hard to find, and don’t quite deliver a custom live class experience.

2) I spoke to a social media influencer that has been finding it difficult to give her followers access to her offline baking classes. Essentially she wants a platform that combines elements of platforms like Twitch and zoom, among other things, to give her audience a custom live class experience. I Spoke to other influencers as well ,and they liked my product and have signed up for early access.

3) The virtual classroom market is currently valued at $15 billion and is projected to be valued at $30 billion by 2025. The size and growth rate of the market made it a good idea to build

The vision is for Smango to be to live classes what Twitch is to live gaming. We will be launching in September.
