RSAs, ISOs, NSOs, & RSUs: Understanding Startup Equity and Taxes

If anyone has experience with growth shares in the US, would love to hear about it. It's a UK construct to allow for participation in gains above a hurdle value, often set near the current valuation. Similar to options but doesn't require the cash outlay and should (in theory) be an attractive tax construct.
