Samsung says will stop loading $1000 smartphones with ads

Ads, preloading and overall monitoring of what content you are watching at least on TVs is what convinced me to stop buying anything Samsung.

Sure, someone can use adb or root and remove most of the things but it's a hassle and things might break on next update.

and what about their smart TVs ?
