On the surface, Zotonic is just a CMS based on Erlang. But when you look under the hood, it's a feature rich application framework that allows you to write truly pluggable modules and host multiple sites on a single instance. It's main components are based on Erlang of course, Webmachine, Erlydtl, Postgres and Nitrogen.
