Show HN: Track how long it takes to hear back from job applications
timeline.careersHey everyone. I’m a recent CS graduated and have been applying to lots of jobs. I found it extremely frustrating having to wait around and wonder when I was going to hear back about my applications’ statuses. So I made a site where everyone can anonymously submit how long it took to hear back (or not hear back) from companies. Feel free to submit your timelines and statuses on hearing back from tech jobs — the more we all contribute, the better visibility we get.
Nice, I like the simple focus and I'm sure with more data this could be useful for applicants. Any thoughts on how to verify the data/prevent spam?
Thanks! I'm using invisible captcha to prevent spam and sanitizing inputs for now. As far as verification -- I could implement some sort of screenshot upload of application confirmation email / follow up email but seems like a bit overkill for now
