thestartupist.comThe boom bust Kozmo.com, with a mission of 1 hours free delivery of convenience items in major cities, was funded to the tune of about $360 million before they bit it hard when the bubble burst.
While the idea was decent, the startup was a decade ahead of its time in terms of timing, etch, and executability. Despite its bust, Kozmo lives on vicariously through a collection of new mobile/local focused startups.
