Appsumo is looting from my credit card, what can I do? Please help
twitter.comI submitted a chargeback with my credit card provider after I detected this fraudulent transaction. To that, appsumo replied back by giving a false ip report that is not related to me. I had purchased a small product from their site one year back and they are submitting those information. This fake transaction was for 600 usd and I strongly suspect there is security breach in appsumo as the purchased products are transferred to another account.
Appsumo is not responding to any of my tickets and this is now more than one month. Since they are submitting fake documents and not helping to figure out the fraudulent transaction, I don’t have any means but to go legally. Anyone please, can you advise on what to do in these scenario?
loose your credit card, call your credit agency, get new card different number, hope for a sensible resolution with appsumo now made more likely when you have turned of the taps to your bank account.
I have blocked the card the moment I noticed it. I informed my credit card company and appsumo same day. Yet appsumo is preventing chatgeback which I think very unethical for a reputed company. It is evident that these putchases are transferred to another account and appsumo is not willing to look into it
