Ask HN: Is web3 with its current meaning viable for entrepreneurs?
I’ve been looking into web3 developments and it is based on decentralization and participant ownership. Users having stake in some token that may or may not be valued highly. Web3 companies will probably be controlled by a DAO with no real company behind it.
This all seems great but are people even those in tech ready to adopt anything that runs on this tech. Is it way too early to try to build in this space.
For the people who work on it and build how will they make money and see huge exits like web2 founders.
Just trying to figure out what to work on and I’m very interested in the decentralized nature but we can’t all work on things for the love while making huge salaries at the centralized big names.
