Musk Working with Doge devs to improve system transaction efficiency
twitter.comMusk has gained more from this market than any other human alive. From the over valuations to the cult of personality, he will be the poster for the 2010/2020s financial markets. It would be dumb for him not to get involved and influence in everything that is ‘now’. He has been on SNL, made songs with his musician girlfriend, has been in movies, got involved in celebrity dating drama, created companies for meme material, got in legal trouble for running his mouth, influences cryptos with tweets, moved to Austin, runs companies in the green energy space, heavy into AI.
I am surprised he hasn’t done anything with - well what is left?
I think Musk has much more staying power. His twitter account is the biggest and most relevant and closely followed of anyone alive now, even more so than Biden, and more so than it has ever been.
If you think he is a big deal now, wait until Tesla stock gets above $1,000, or if bitcoin goes to $100k , or if there is another crisis/pandemic, or a mars or moon space-x mission, etc.. He is only limited by the fact he cannot run for president.
I wish there were a way to bet on this.
I mean if you really believe in what you said e.g. Tesla gets above $1,000 or Bitcoin goes above $100k, you can very well bet on it by buying into it, no? I wouldn't bet my savings on that though. Musk can very well post another tweet tomorrow saying that Doge is worthless... I guess when people look back on this 10 years from now it will be all 2000s internet bubble again.
Musk in the near future: Transaction efficiency is irrelevant in a Proof of Work system as the energy consumption is a function of asset price and block rewards. I will no longer touch any PoW asset as it stands against everything we stand for. Exploring Chia.
Then we have data storage black markets, people saying goodbye to old photos because run out of storage. Developers pivot to pole dancing because they cannot install Xcode anymore on their drive and cannot afford a larger one.
There is no reason to believe this is true and/or will be productive. I don't know anything about Musk himself that suggests he would be of unusual help in this field.
It's interesting watching the grift happen in real time.
Classic pump-and-dump. There's hoping that the SEC do a McAfee on him, though this seems rather unlikely unfortunately.
