How I studied for 12 hours a day for over a year

This is fascinating. I really don't have much else to say, but I hope this gets some traction because I'm curious as to what the HN discourse thinks of this.

I feel like there are a lot of people (especially around here) who think they could, or wish they could be this person "if they just [X]", and here's an example of a young guy saying "I'm literally just going to do the work, everyday, for 12 hours a day".
