Making it harder for monopoly-mergers to be approved in the future is a good first step but it won't do anything to address the existing inequities in tech. Passing deliberately vague regulations and putting some unelected bureaucrats in charge of enforcement will only favor existing tech incumbents, like everything the FCC and Copyright Office has done so far.

The DoJ already has the tools to break up monopolies but our senators are deliberately tiptoeing around that.

I can't take her reasoning seriously if she doesn't understand why Lyft and Uber don't get charged the 30%. Apple guidelines on why physical goods/services are not charged vs. subscriptions or digital goods is pretty clear.

When politicians can't or are willfully misguiding in interviews like this they really lose a lot of my trust.
