Show HN: Based On A Story - a browser extension to create and share stories

Hi, I am a longtime lurker and have seen lots of people launch their ideas and have decided to finally bite the bullet and launch mine.

My hobby is writing and am currently writing an action thriller novel as well as an animation screenplay. As any writer will tell you writing takes practice and some might suggest that it is good practice to write everyday.

And so I thought why not combine the idea of writing prompts (short exercises that provide you with a topic and you create any story with them) and sharing on Social Media.

That's where 'Based On A Story' was born.

A fun way to create stories based on the word-of-the-day using only 280 characters.

I combined the wordnik word-of-day API, with Firebase as a backend to make the extension work and then I used the Twitter social sharing links for the sharing.

I would really appreciated some feedback on the effort I put in.
