Ask HN: Are there any software engineering books you can read casually?
Each time I pick up a software engineering book, I need to sit around the table with my code editor opened or at least a notebook to take notes. I wonder if there any books that I can read while I am commuting, for example, but that would still bring some technical knowledge and expertise in the field? “The Phoenix project”, and its sequel “the unicorn project” only come to mind. Came here to say this. I would also recommend Coders at Work[0], which is a series of interviews with notable programmers. Tons!
