PWA is going to break in August 2021

I was hoping this meant that Google was giving up on PWAs :) But no, sadly. It's about a hack to bypass some restrictions that's being blocked.

The reasons I don't like PWAs are inefficient resource use (same reason I don't like Electron apps) and integration with web tracking. A standalone app has no access to your web cookies. PWA's do, as they run within the same browser.

I know it's super handy for developers but as a user I avoid them.
