Database by the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis with 700k+ economic time series

There is an R package fredr to access the FRED database: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/fredr/index.html .

They keep on discontinuing politically inconvenient data that shows what a terrible job they are doing. But otherwise it’s a goldmine.
