Create Mindmaps from Text

To be honest, the existence of this confuses me about the point of a mind map. If the ideas can be represented in an outline, what is the point of a "mind map"? Yet this is how mind-maps are advertised: https://thedigitalprojectmanager.com/wp-content/uploads/2019...

In my opinion, a "mind map" should only be created to represent ideas that aren't just hierarchical. i.e. ideas that reference each other and might go in circles and have several branches. e.g. https://wi-images.condecdn.net/image/zGEPg6z8l03/crop/1620/f...

For which the original poster's software isn't good enough. Otherwise we would just use a text outline.
