Though calling Stuff "journalism" is not just a bit exaggerated. Their Facebook campaign was based on hate and division to trigger reaction and view.

    Stuff has come a long way in a short time. I’d previously have placed them lower than The New Zealand Herald in terms of their gutter journalism but under their new leadership and local ownership they are markedly better.

    I get my local news from RNZ but Stuff gets a look in nowadays - it’s quicker to pickup stories and often has more coverage. I recommend giving them a chance as they are a very different company now.

    Foreign ownership of a country’s news media seems problematic and has some motivations that are questionable. I’m sure I’m not the first to think on this.

Yes please. Get the news off of FB, everyone will benefit.

Replace it with discussions of random Wikipedia articles.

More troubling is that'under-represented' groups continue use Facebook as their news source.
