Ask HN: Help a FAANG dreamer with mock interviews?
Hello HN!
Long time user but created a new account as I don't want to be too public about this request.
TLDR: Can anyone give me some mock interviews for FAANG type companies?
Long version:
Who am I?
Backend engineer working in Europe who dreams of one day making it to FAANG.
What am I looking for?
FAANG (or similar companies like Airbnb, Uber etc.) engineer to mock interview me. I am ready for problem solving and working on system design. So if you only care about System Design, please come forward as well :-)
Why not directly interview?
I failed last time and would love to do everything in my right to succeed this time.
Why now?
I have done enough prep to feel confident in my abilities. So I promise it will not be a complete waste of your time.
Why not Pramp or something similar?
I tried it 3 times and not even once had a positive experience.
Why not friends?
I did a couple of rounds with a friend who is in FAANG. Now he is too busy in his life :/
Will you pay me?
Unfortunately not. If I had enough cash I wouldn't be posting here. But I promise you this - if I get in, I will be available for the next FAANG dreamer.
