Ask HN: Is there a standard for building platforms that host apps
Hey HN!
I am joining a team as CTO to build a web platform that will eventually host apps built by third-party developers. I plan to build the first-party applications as though they were apps hosted on the platform as well.
To this end, I was looking for some reference architectures or standards. I wondered if there was a standard like Matrix[1] or a methodology like Twelve-Factor[2]. Any pointers would be very helpful!
The stack I'm planning to build with is: React, Elixir, PostgreSQL, AWS.
