npr.orgNPR is junk! Just because we see black men getting shot by police on MSM does not make it a fact. More white men are killed by police than blacks.
Is anyone saying anything about the daily deaths in Chicago, or how their is alot of black on black crime? Some say black on black crime does not exists.
No mention of FBI stats showing white men are killed more by police than blacks.

We have seen this too many times! We have a DA/police accountability issues. Cops report issues, but the lack of actions leads to this type of cases imho.

Fully agree that the unions seem to be a problem for accountability overall though. That's also my general opinion of unions (not just police)

On these topics, I am always confused by the variety of positions.
I note that NPR is considered high factuality, left of center bias, so I generally want to trust them.
It's tricky to cut through the difficulty of understanding that we have a set of laws and those laws say a police officer is allowed to shoot someone, race irrespective, under circumstances. And it's a tragedy when someone loses their life, but the hypothesis of allowing police to kill someone is that the individual is suspected to be dangerous to others whom are less suspected (ie innocent).
