Why the Canadian Tech Scene Doesn’t Work

How important is funding for a tech scene? Am I the only one who believes that culture is much more important? The most prevalent jobs for Canadians is working in the banking sector or the energy sector, two big and risk-averse sectors. I think if Canada wants to have a budding tech scene, it needs to embrace failure and thinking big.
