Ask HN: Gmail Down (Again)?
I am currently receiving the following when trying to email myself:
Your message wasn't delivered to xxxxxx@gmail.com because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.
(I am currently logged in to the gmail address it is telling me does not exist, and am sending the email from another gmail account.) We are seeing all email to Gmail sent through sendgrid bounce with this error currently Email routed through SES is getting through though. This is going to be a mess to clean up due to automated blocking of bounced addresses I am receiving a number of bounce errors from AWS SES to gmail accounts with this same error. Started ~5:40p ET. I'm also seeing lots of gmail bounces for legitimate gmail accounts today (starting around 14 Dec 2020 22:36 UTC). Seems to be ongoing and blocking many (but not all) emails to accounts being reported as not existing. Seems to have been resolved around 15 Dec 2020 00:10 UTC. this is hapening to me as well. currently 1248pm pacific on 12-15-20 Same.
