Ask HN: What's the best non-Safari web browser on macOS?
I recently got an M1 Mac, and it's got me thinking about web browsers. I want to reduce my dependence on Google Chrome because of Keystone, but I also want a web browser to use in case Safari causes problems (it already has on some pages). Can anyone advise me on what fallback browser I should use? I feel like Keystone is overblown, but I recently switched back to Firefox and it's finally not too slow. Firefox. I've been looking at all the options and it looks like Firefox really is my best bet. I use Tor Browser for private browsing when I need to, anyway, so I don't see any other alternative that's good enough. Brave: Google Chrome without the Google. Brave does seem like a nice option. I used it a while back but haven't really touched it since. I also like the Tor integration. I just really kind of hate the iconography.
