Okta is closing our account because we're Colombian
Okta decided they would no longer sell to customers in Colombia and Venezuela. They think both economies are the same just because we're geographically next to each other. While Venezuela has an 'authoritarian-based' economy, Colombia has had very healthy and close economic and diplomatic ties with the US, for decades now. We're one of their closest allies, actually.
Our CEO tweeted (https://twitter.com/davidpelaez/status/1331653460027117569) to our ambassador and foreign officials about this situation but they don't seem to pay a lot of attention. Meanwhile, Okta still doesn't consider this as a big misjudgement on their behalf: considering Colombia and Venezuela as 'the same thing', for whatever reasons or prejudices they have.

We found more apps had OIDC support on AAD for the ones we used (40+, so admittedly small). I decided to create a new post since we received more information since then, especially the fact that they consider Colombian economy as dangerous or risky as the Venezuelan economy, which is completely nonsense. JumpCloud is 100% a solid move. Ive been using it for a couple of years and woudnt be wihtout it! I wasn't sure if both posts were the same company, they had different user names and didn't mention a company name. Not that I care, but you should provide sources of your claims if you want people to take your side.
